Alliance for Dade and 30+ Dade County Businesses Bring Career Day Success

The Alliance for Dade, Dade County’s Chamber of Commerce hosted a Career Day at Dade High School on Tuesday. Over thirty local businesses appeared in the high school’s common area to introduce Dade County High School students to what type of careers their company can offer the soon-to-be-graduating students, and others who may not know what path they will take yet.

As Superintendent Joshua Ingle said on his weekly appearance on the K-WIN Today program; some of these children aren’t sure what path they will take after high school. Many will go on to collegiate institutes for degrees, but others will be ready to enter the work for much sooner. Exposing the students to what is available to them in their own hometown is pertinent.
