OBITUARIES
Thomas Stacy
Thomas E. Stacy, age 81, of Trenton, GA, born April 9, 1929 passed away, Thursday, August 26, 2010. He was a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force and a farmer. He was a member of Magby Gap Church of Christ.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Clara Stacy, his brother Bobby Stacy, and his sister Peggy Stacy.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Kyoko Stacy; daughter, Linda Moshkelani, Harrison, TN; two sons, Thomas Alan Stacy, Tuscaloosa, AL and William Edward Stacy, Texas; sisters, Helen Barrett, Murfreesboro, TN and Kathy Stacy, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Angela Cecil, Adrian Stacy, Amberly Mathews, Deidre Stacy, Darya Long and Ardalan Moshkelani and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM EDT Monday, August 30, 2010 in the Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Minister David Nelson officiating. Interment will be held 10:00 AM Friday September 3, 2010 in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

Jonathan McDowell
Jonathan Michael McDowell, age 27, of Higdon, AL, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, who enjoyed model cars, music and working in the yard.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Dickey McDowell; great-grandmother Pearl Hawkins; great-grandfather T.C. Hawkins; uncles Marty McDowell and Melvin Tucker.
Survivors include his wife Kristy McDowell; daughters Abbigale Grace McDowell and Kali Danielle McDowell; son Michael Hunter McDowell; step-sister Amber Talley; brother Adam Christopher McDowell; Half brother Michael Nathan McDowell; step-brothers Jonathan Smith and Eric Talley; parents Michael & Nikki McDowell, Joy & Roger Talley; step-mother Sylvia Talley; grandparents James & Erthelene Lea, Hazel McDowell; special friend Robert Hart; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM EST at Mountain View Church of God in Bryant with Brad Bridges and Cordell Holloway officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made directly to Moore Funeral Home, P.O. Box 816 Trenton, GA 30752.

Rose Tyeryar
Rosemaria "Rose" Tyeryar, age 48, of Trenton, GA, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010. She was a 1980 graduate of Walkersville High School. She was the owner of Exoticuts Hair Salon and a waitress at Brock's Restaurant in Trenton for 17 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin "Buddy" Rohrbaugh.
Survivors include fiancée, Jimmy Sullivan, Trenton, GA; daughters, Brandi Tyeryar, Suffolk, VA, Brandy Weldon, Flat Rock, AL, and Audry Sullivan, Huntsville, AL; sons, Josh Tyeryar, Trenton, GA, JT Tyeryar, Sabilasville, MD, Scott Sullivan, Trenton, GA, and Charles Sullivan, Flat Rock, AL; mother and step-father, Rose and Danny Andrews, Suffolk, VA; sister, Cathy LaGore, Thurmont, MD; 2 brothers, Buddy Rohrbaugh, Greencastle, PA, and Steve Andrews, New Midway, MD; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 29, 2010, in Maysville, WV, with Basagic Funeral Home in Petersbury, WV in charge of arrangements.
Ryan Funeral Home of Trenton handled local arrangements for the family.
WILDWOOD - Beula Bell "Boots" Porter Lawson, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, and join her parents, Herbert Cleveland Porter and Beulah Lea Porter; her husband, George H. "Bud" Lawson Sr.; and her son, George H. "Buddy" Lawson Jr. She was born May 15, 1922, Wildwood, Ga.
She is survived by her two daughters, Bea Lawson Smith, of Wildwood and Elzada "Z" Lawson Ganaway; and husband, Dr. George Ganaway, of Atlanta; six grandchildren, Barbara Lawson Reed, of Dayton, Tenn., Sherri Lawson Williams, of Great Bend, Kan., Kevin Smith, of Wildwood, Ga., Brian Smith, of Rising Fawn, Ga., Heather Ganaway Dunn, of Cumming, Ga. and Erin Ganaway, Atlanta.; sisters, Sue Lawson and Helen Cole, of Trenton, Ga.; many dear nieces and nephews who brought sunshine and love into her life.
Boots spent her life serving the Lord and raising her family in a loving Christian home. She taught Sunday school, VBS, BTU classes in her home churches in Tennessee, Florida and Georgia where each person was important to her. She graduated from Dade High in 1942 and attended Palm Beach Jr. College in Florida. She emphasized education to all and was an avid student of the Bible, loved music and played piano until the final weeks of her life.
Her final 2.5 years of her life were at Woodhaven Assisted Living in Trenton, Ga., where she was surrounded by a wonderful loving family of caregivers. Many thanks to the caring staff at Woodhaven for their tender care of our mother and support to our family.
Special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for the care given our mother in her final days.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. EDT Friday in the Ryan Funeral Home Chapel with George Herbert Lawson officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-9 p.m. today.
